Recipe fried ice cream


Ingredients:

 1 quart vanilla ice cream
 3 cups crushed cornflakes cereal
 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
 3 egg whites
 2 quarts oil for frying

Directions

Scoop ice cream into 8 - 1/2 cup sized balls. Place on baking sheet and freeze until firm, about 1 hour.
In a shallow dish, combine cornflakes and cinnamon. In another dish, beat egg whites until foamy. Roll ice cream balls in egg whites, then in cornflakes, covering ice cream completely. Repeat if necessary. Freeze again until firm, 3 hours.
In deep fryer or large, heavy saucepan, heat oil to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
Using a basket or slotted spoon, fry ice cream balls 1 or 2 at a time, for 10 to 15 seconds, until golden. Drain quickly on paper towels and serve immediately.

RECIPES COCONUT PUDDING


COCONUT PUDDING
ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 3 cups Silk soy, almond or coconut milk, any flavor except Light
  • 3 Tbsp margarine (or butter)
  • 1 1/2 tsp vanilla
  •  
Methods:
1. Combine the cocoa, sugar, salt and cornstarch in a saucepan and mix well.
2. Slowly add the Silk, whisking constantly to prevent lumps. Bring this mixture to a boil over medium heat while whisking constantly.
3. Lower the heat to a simmer, cover and simmer gently for 8-10 minutes, until pudding begins to thicken.
4. Remove from the heat and whisk in the margarine (or butter) and vanilla.
5. Pour into 1 large bowl or 8 small serving bowls and refrigerate for at least an hour until thoroughly chilled.

Directions:

 Spread a thin layer of eggs,mayonnaise and   sauce chili onto one side of each slice of bread. Serve immediately

MILO SHAKE


MILO SHAKE

INGREDIENTS:

2 sachet of Nestle Milo (about 2 tablespoons)
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups ice cubes

DIRECTIONS:

Blend all ingredients together and serve. Good for 2 servings.

RECIPE FOR CHEESY POTATOES


CHEESY POTATOES
Ingredients:

    4 large potatoes, peeled and sliced

    1 small onion, finely chopped

    1 1/2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese

    1 teaspoon margarine

    salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  1. Layer the potatoes, onion, cheese, salt and pepper into a microwave safe casserole dish. Once finished layering, place 1 teaspoon of margarine on the top of the uppermost layer. Cover and cook in the microwave oven on HIGH for 10 minutes.
  2. Remove the dish from the microwave and stir before cooking for another 10 minutes or until done. Stir well and serve.

RECIPE BEEF CURRY


beef curry

ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil 
  • 650g gravy beef or chuck steak, trimmed
  • 1 cup coconut cream
  • 2 tablespoons curry paste
  • 1 cup coconut milk
  • 1 cup chicken stock
  • 2 medium potatoes, peeled, cut into 3cm pieces
  • 1 cinnamon stick
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 5 cardamom pods, lightly crushed  
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon tamarind concentrate
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
Directions:
  1. Step 1
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium-high heat until hot. Add beef. Cook, stirring constantly, until evenly browned. Transfer to a plate. Add 2 tablespoons coconut cream to pan. Cook over medium heat for 20 seconds or until hot. Add curry paste. Cook for 1 minute or until aromatic.
  1. Step 2
Return beef and juices to pan. Add coconut milk, stock, potatoes, cinnamon stick, bay leaves, cardamom pods, sugar, tamarind concentrate, fish sauce and remaining coconut cream. Stir to combine.
  1. Step 3
Reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer, stirring occasionally, for 1 1/2 to 2 hours or until beef is tender. Serve with rice.

RECIPE FOR ICE CREAM CHOCOLATE

Ingredients


    3/4 cup sugar

    1 cup milk

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

    3 egg yolk, lightly beaten

    2 ounces semisweet chocolate, chopped

    2 cups heavy cream

    1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions
  1. Combine sugar, milk, salt, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer. Place the egg yolks into a small bowl. Gradually stir in about 1/2 cup of the hot liquid. and return to the saucepan. Heat until thickened, but do not boil. Remove from the heat, and stir in the chopped chocolate until chocolate is melted. Pour into a chilled bowl, and refrigerate for about two hours until cold, stirring occasionally.

  2. When chocolate mixture has completely cooled, stir in the cream, and vanilla. Pour into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

RECIPE FOR PANCAKE


PANCAKE
Ingredients
  • 2 packages (1/4 ounce each) quick-rise yeast
  • 3 cups warm milk (120° to 130°), divided
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons sugar
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 2 Eggs, lightly beaten
Directions
  1. In a small bowl, dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm milk. In a large bowl, combine the flour, sugar and salt. Gradually stir in the yeast mixture and butter until smooth. Combine the eggs and remaining milk; stir into the batter until well combined. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 30 minutes.
  2. Pour batter by 1/2 cupfuls onto a greased hot griddle. Turn when bubbles form on top of pancake; cook until second side is golden brown. Yield: about 1 dozen.

RECPIE FOR DOUGHNUTS





Ingredients:

    2 tablespoons white vinegar

    3/8 cup milk

    2 tablespoons shortening

    1/2 cup white sugar

    1 egg

    1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

    2 cups sifted all-purpose flour

    1/2 teaspoon baking soda

    1/4 teaspoon salt

    1 quart oil for deep frying

    1/2 cup confectioners' sugar for dusting


Directions:

  1. Stir the vinegar into the milk, and let stand for a few minutes until thick.
  1. In a medium bowl, cream together the shortening and sugar until smooth. Beat in the egg and vanilla until well blended. Sift together the flour, baking soda, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture alternating with the vinegar and milk. Roll dough out on a floured surface to 1/3 inch thickness. Cut into doughnuts using a donut cutter. Let stand for about 10 minutes.
  1. Heat the oil in a large deep skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Fry doughnuts in the hot oil until golden, turning over once. Drain on paper towels. Dust with confectioners' sugar while they are still warm, and serve immediately.

RECIPE BEEF BURGER





BEEF BURGER

ingredients:
  • 1 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup fine dry bread crumbs

  Methods:
  1. Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together egg, salt and pepper. Place ground beef and bread crumbs into the mixture. With hands or a fork, mix until well blended. Form into 4 patties approximately 3/4 inch thick.
  3. Place patties on the prepared grill. Cover and cook 6 to 8 minutes per side

RECIPE CHAR KWAY TEOW SIMPLE




CHAR KWAY TEOW
Ingredients

  • 1 kg flat rice noodles (kway teow), cut into 1 cm wide strips
  • 400g fresh prawns
  • 250g boneless, skinless chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 1 tablespoon (15ml) thin soya sauce
  • 2 tablespoons (30ml) thick soya sauce
  • 3 fresh red chilies, pounded
  • 6 cloves garlic, pounded
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 3 tablespoons (45ml) oil

Directions

  1. Heat oil in wok and fry the pounded chilies and garlic until fragrant.
  2. Add chicken and stir fry for 2 minutes. Add shrimp and quickly stir fry for another 2 minutes
  3. Add the beaten eggs, making sure to stir quickly so that it doesn't become a hard scramble. Add the light soya sauce, dark soya sauce and beansprouts.
  4. Add the noodles and mix thoroughly. Taste and add salt and pepper to taste. Stir fry for another 3 minutes and add the chives before turning off the heat.


RECIPE CARAMEL PUDDING

INGREDIENTS:

For the caramel
  • 225 grams granulated sugar
For the pudding
  • 1 liter milk
  • 12 egg yolks
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 dash vanilla essence
Method
  1. Heat the sugar in a pot (do not add any water or oil or what so ever, just the sugar). Place it over low heat until brown and slowly add hot water (half a cup, until sugar is dissolve but not too watery). Place it aside.
  2. Warm up the milk. Make sure its not too hot. Put in a pinch of salt and 4 table spoon of granulated fine sugar. Make sure sugar dissolve. Place it aside.
  3. Beat 12 egg yolks until smooth and put in a dash (1 tea spoon) of Vanilla Essence. Mix your egg yolks with the milk.
  4. Place the caramel at the bottom of your bowls for steaming. Then place the mixture of the milk and egg yolks slowly.
  5. Place you bowls in the steamer and steam until firm. You may garnish with orange peels if you wish and eat it with sliced canned peach.

  • Toppings
  • 2 tablespoons condensed milk or evaporated milk
  • 2 tablespoons canned sweet corn, cream-style
  • 2 tablespoons grass jelly pieces
  Instructions 

*blend ice cube
*Add all the ingredients in bowl
